FALSE. There are plenty of n=1 experiments (myself included) that involved intentionally overeating on low carb and watching fat loss continue. We’re not talking a few hundred calories. We’re talking 1000-2000 over maintenance. The human body isn’t a single fuel system. And there are far too many pathways for ATP production to pretend that CICO can be used. That’s a naive approach. Further, there are those in severely calorie restricted diets (800-1200) who still don’t lose weight or potentially gain weight.

Thank you for this! My facility has safety bars you can install just below the hip. Only saw this vid right after I practiced bailing without those and made a giant crash causing people to look 😅 from now on I’ll install those and lean forward to let the bar down gently.

So, I tend to agree with most of these things, but my sports medicine specialist says that there is no evidence that static stretching before a run is helpful, and she thinks it can actually can increase injury risk and be detrimental to performance. She says stretching after a run is fine.

Make sure you put both feet into the resistance band so you don’t create a muscular imbalance with your arms and back from the band assisting one side more than the other

Addition Of Cardio For 30 Mins. Per Day Will Be Good Or Not For Body Recomposition ?

The pic of Don that starts at 0:08 with him outside seriously looks like George Lucas. The force of walking was strong in him. 😁 Overall though, I'd say that the combo of full body strength training 3x per week and walking at least 10-12K steps every single day is the most efficient weight loss/body recomp method there is. Mainly because it's sustainable to stick to for the rest of someone's life. What people burn out on is endless formal cardio and high intensity crap. Especially since most people aren't looking to train like athletes. They just want to be healthy, strong enough to keep mobility, and not be fat.

Running 5k’s 2-3 times a week has changed my life honestly, physically and mentally. I’ve only been running for a few weeks not even a month yet and I’m already starting to see results. But from my experience, it wasn’t easy. When I ran my first 5k, I had no long distance running experience at all but I do play a lot of badminton so my stamina is a little trained but still it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. While you’re running, you’ll feel a lot of pain in your lower body muscles and start to feel fatigue around 3k, at that point it was a battle of willpower and I somehow finished it thinking I woudn’t have. After a few weeks, my body started adapting to the stress and I was finally able to walk after just one day of rest, usually it takes me a few days but I recovered faster than usual. Overall, I’m happy to run but also not because of how tiring it really is. However, running every now and then really is fun and I honestly advice for everyone to try it out, for me running is kind of a battle of will, this sport can make you think twice of running the next day.

I was eating sardines because they are super good for health, but THEN... I discovered canned mackerel... you know, the ones in the flat tin... and OMG!!! I was in heaven! No kidding; never knew canned fish could taste so good. Having said that, I guess everyone has a different palate so, you do you and I'll keep eating mackerel from a tin. There are several varieties... with lemon, with mustard, etc. but I like the ones in oil only.

Hi. Suppose I have an hour for a workout, is it better to do the regular procedure (2-3 sets of 4 exercises) or a circuit procedure? The goal is gaining muscle (not loosing weight).

What I don’t get is how often personal trainers will have their actor train like the character they’re playing and no to get big. The majority of the time, no one is asking for a fighter build, they’re looking for big muscles to look like the comics. Don’t get me wrong, I like Robert Pattinsons portrayal and physique, but if you want the super hero look, just lift conventional weights.

When you're in a small country and try to post things on social media, the algorithm only shows your content to people from your location so everybody from my high school or my own local gyms they all see my working out content but they still judge and criticize me and it's annoying as shit wanting to get training done and having to see people from social media that talk shit behind your back AT YOUR OWN gym then they start staring at you and then I stare them back for a minute straight, trying to intimidate me or some bullshit people have no education or morals in here I can't wait until I leave this dogshit place man
